So. Skin Fair. For anyone who knows me, then you know I am a complete and total skin whore. I am not made of money (in RL or SL) and therefore funding this habit is extremely difficult for me, however, I managed to save up enough that I could have some fun tonight when it opened!
LOL. That’s all I can say to that. I hate these damn things. It took me THREE HOURS of spam clicking my landmark to get in. YOU MAY ALL THANK ME NOW for being one of those people who runs around in panties with literally not a single attachment on mah damn self. Oh, the noob run is so awesome… -.- Anyway, lag city. Lagtastic. I was there way longer than I hoped to be because I wasn’t going to make the mistake of “oh I’ll buy this skin because it’s Curio and I know I can work it.” HELL NO. Some of these skins were expensive! (Granted, its because you could only purchase them in makeup fatpacks) so I had to wait for every single one of them to rezzzz on me. Long, exhausting process just to buy three skins, let me tell you! But in the end, worth it. I ended up with three beautiful skins that I will show you below. Aside from the ones I will show you, there were SO many vendors there: Grixdale, Al Vulo (FREE GIFT THERE, PS), Redgrave, LeLutka, Belleza, Mynerva…alll sorts of places to check out. But today I went with three – two of which I had never owned before so I was nervous about buying them (I hardly EVER buy a skin until I have every single family member’s approval because I’m so f*cking indecisive).

I was surprised by some of these skins. I suppose I always will be at the way designers decide to include their options. The skins themselves were beautiful in my opinion, enough that I simply didn’t care about layers/etc.
But if any skin designers read my blog, please keep this in mind:
1. Please start including hairbases/brows WITH the skins instead of as a tattoo layer? We aren’t *all* using viewer 2, we don’t all have multiple tattoo layers yet!
2. Please, please include cleavage & non cleavage versions WITH the skins instead of on an undershirt layer? For the same reasons as listed above.
The fact that I have to wear so many layers of things JUST for my skin really irks me because it’s now one less item of clothing or fun makeup I can wear. Daphne comes ONLY with blonde brows and I never wear blonde hair. Zoe only has cleavage available on an undershirt layer. These are not criticisms, for the skins themselves are marvelous, but just words of advice & suggestions as well as general knowledge for the public.
At any rate, I was impressed by the skin fair annnd for all of you hoping to get your hands dirty in there it will keep going until March 6th. When you do go, PLEASE DON’T BE A PRIM WHORE. TAKE YOUR CLOTHES OFF.
