Your hair is everywhere…

So today is a hair post.  Yes, a hair post.  Ergo the song title of the day, haha!  There is a brand new store out there called Milana that I was lucky enough to find about prior to its opening and meant to blog about but got sidetracked!  Milana is a collaboration between two SL designers (Asuka Martin of Dernier Cri and Sharifa Morenz) to bring us something new and beautiful in the hair world of SL!  I picked up four hairs the other night and meant to blog them but I got too tired, so instead you get to see them now.  I absolutely adore them.  See for yourself!

 

Fans of Dernier Cri will find the hair dye HUD familiar, because it is used in Milana’s hairs also!  It takes about a minute for the hair to change color and the options are vast and beautiful (plus you don’t clutter your inventory up with tons of hairs like I do!)  The textures are simply beautiful (I especially love the hairs that include a couple curly, whisp-like tendrils!!), realistic, and look good on basically everybody (I would know, I took all five of my SL children with me when I went on this shopping extravaganza thanks to Rayne reminding me to go!). I did not model the fourth hair I purchased because to be perfectly honest, it was a ponytail style and I felt like no pose I had did it any justice with the gorgeous textures it has.  You need to go to Milana and try them out for yourself!

Sooo today I have lots of Grixdale goodness for you!  I have so much I want to share that it’s probably going to be spread out among the next few posts, but I did my best to put on my favorites for you today!! ^^  For those of you who may still be unaware (though I have no idea how that’s possible), Grixdale is owned & created by Tyr Rozenblum.. rebranded from Tyranny, that store you all know and love so much!  I will write upon what I’m wearing briefly to give an honest review, but I’ll let the pictures go first.

TWO POSTS IN ONE DAY HOLY MOLY.  So, I was just given an item from the lovely Viollette Vyper to review for all of you and I have to say I am in awe.  Viollette Vyper is like T-Pain, she’s got the whole stadium in love.  SERIOUSLY YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW.  :Q___

The item(s) are called ‘Draped in Pearls’ and include a necklace and a bracelet that are adorably sculpted pearls with an absolutely adorable bow on both!  Two versions come in this set, one without a resize script and one with, for your convenience.  They are placed near perfect; I didn’t have to adjust except for an increase in 2% on the size of the necklace (THANKS, HUGE BOOBIES!!)…. ahem.

So a little info for you on this set:  It is going to be part of the Theme Market this upcoming Saturday, which is when you can grab it (and all items are 75L or less)!  The theme this time around is “Vintage,” ergo Vio’s lovely pearls!

This is the ONLY TIME you will be able to get this in a set.  The necklaces will be available in a plethora of colors in the store following the Theme Market, but the bracelet is a one time only deal so make sure you go HERE and grab it!!

So lots of news today for you!  Well not lots, but a few things I wanted to say right quick–  I am officially a blogger for both BellBalls & Grixdale/Aura now, so look forward to seeing my reviews on Viollette & Tyr’s epic goodies!  I’m so happy and thankful that I was chosen; it means lots of new opportunities for me to bring you all the latest styles and give you my honest opinions on what’s up & coming!  I don’t know if you’ve realized this about me, but I haven’t really been an ‘official’ blogger for any particular store.  I write the blog for .:Effum Ink:. and //Sick Muse, but not as a reviewer, instead as Customer Service.  So everything that I blog in this blog is simply stuff I’ve bought and love– none of it was just given to me.  The fact that there are designers who trust me with their items to blog them is baffling, astounding, and a complete and total honor, so I hope I can do Vio & Tyr justice in future posts!  In addition, the fact that there are so many of you who come check my blog out is amazing.  So thank you!
