Mermaids and Nagas and Elves, Oh My!

So today I wanted to blog a little bit, NOT about fashion, well sort of.

Kioko Kumaki, owner of Panda Express, has spent the past year re-doing her sim to create basically the most amazing RP sim you have ever beheld, NeverWhere.  And, I am more than pleased to tell you, that it is OFFICIALLY open.  So you need to check it out!  A little about NeverWhere?

If mermaids, naga, hybrids, elves, cannibals, drow and pirates interest you at all, this is where you want to be.  There is so much to see and do, and the RP is already exciting and we’re only on day 2 of the sim being open to the public!  Please come check it out!  There are observer tags for those of you not sure if you’re interested in the RP world, but I really do think you should come take a look!

I am the GM/Faction Leader for the Sea Witches, aka, the “darker” Mermaids.  So for my LotD, I decided to provide you with a little insight to my character’s look!

Finding quality mermaid tails in SL has been a difficult endeavor.  There are tons out there but most are not anatomically correct and the others are just so silly looking!  I am so proud of the mers I have already seen swimming around in NeverWhere because so far they’ve all been h-h-hawwwwt!

Oooooh boy oh boy do I have goodies for you on this OH YOU FANCY!? Friday!

Firstly, please allow me to present my hubs to you, appearing with me in this blog for the very first time.  Today, Dodge & I received the newest release from Panda Express, and since we both had them we decided to be disgustingly cutesy and blog them together so that you can see this new marvel on both a male and a female avi.

Kioko Kumaki released another little baby in her Elflorn Ears set, the Goth Ears.  As you can see, the detail is incredible on these puppies.  I love the shape of her Elflorn ears; I have yet to see any ears like them.  They are MEANT to be very long, meant to be very noticeable, so for those of you wanting small, delicate elf ears, these are not for you.  Even Dodge at first was a little :O over their size, but as I told him, I will tell you; it takes getting used to when you wear those little gauged & aitui elf ears all the time.  The textures on them are absolutely lovely, the shading and detail are gorgeous.  The piercings on these ears are wonderful and she has even shadowed those as well for MORE detail.  The HUD is easy to use and it is extremely easy to match these ears with ANY skin tone!  Onto the pictures:

For those of you who may be unaware, Kioko has been working very hard the past year (or longer) on turning her sim into a RP sim.  That is why the name of the sim, Cuppycakeums, has turned into Neverwhere.

Straight from Kioko’s profile:
“We are turning the sim into a VERY cool RP area, it will be DARK so don’t expect care-bear bull shit. Mermaids, Elves, Fauns, Hybrids and Pirates will have a home here, full of raping and pillaging, Wars and settling scores! The rest Is a surprise!”

If you aren’t excited already, let me just tell you I FINALLY got to see the sim in all its wondrous glory, and nearly peed my pants with excitement.  Kioko says that her hope is that the sim will be open by the end of the month.

If you want details about it, please ask her.  I’m not sure what she’s willing to reveal just yet, but I wanted you all to know that I HAVE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES AND IT IS A ROLEPLAYER’S PARADISE.  GET FUCKING EXCITED!

I also took a sneak peak picture, while I was there.  It has been edited only minorly, this is one of the actual areas in the sim.  I know it’s hard to see anything… that’s the point.  Consider this a teaser trailer of Neverwhere!
