OH YOU FANCY, Effum Ink!

Hellloooo dear readers!  So today, for this OH YOU FANCY Friday, I have a special little outfit to show you.  I was given an outfit to blog from the amazing & talented Acid Chrome, owner of Effum Ink.  Now, Farren had been to the store before but I had not, and when I got there I was amazed.  Her clothes are right up my alley & she let me pick one of her new releases (or something older) to blog.

So today I bring you the Vintage Mini Jacket.  This really is one of the cutest/sexiest jackets I’ve seen.  It comes with the hood, the belt, arm prims (not pictured but they are great quality and the textures match up perfectly) and the option to wear it just as a jacket/shirt/whatever layer, or with a pant layer so you can wear it almost like a little jumpsuit, if you will.  I really love the belt that came with it; it fits perfectly, stays on your body nicely (and I have a completely SPAZZY AO so I was glad that it stayed so close to my hips) and is just in general one of my new favorite pieces of clothing.  The proof is in the pictures though, right?  So here’s the proof for you

A Hunter’s Paradise!

- Haii, everybody!
It’s Murderous Monday once again, so today I bring you some goodies!

- Basically everything I’m wearing above is a new release, or a hunt item.
I’m focusing mostly on the piercings I just recently bought, from .:ellabella:.
So, ellabella is a store located right under plastik, on the same sim & everything.
The piercings there are pretty spectacular, if I do say so myself. One reason is because you can change the color of them, unlike a lot of other piercings.
They have all the glorious things a person could want from piercings, they have shadows, they’re modifiable, copyable, and they look great!

- In the close up pic I took above, I wanted to show you the side angle of the piercings, up by the brow.
In order to do that, I had to get bald.. So IGNORE THAT!
The piercing’s color option comes with tons of different colors, and there’s even a few that have a combination of two colors in one, such as “Cotton Candy.”
The one I’m wearing in the pic is, “Aqua” which could possibly be my favorite. It’s hard to choose, there’s so many colors & I love all of them :3

So today for this OH YOU FANCY Friday, I have a COUPLE things to blog so it’s gonna be a long one.  I’ll try not to get too wordy today in the way I typically do.

Firstly, Kioko sent me MORE pre-releases (IT’S OFFICIAL, THEY ARE IN THE STORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!) from Panda Express!  She is working on an entire outfit that can be mixed & matched, worn separately, together, etcetera.

Okay, onto part two of my post.  I am mixing the two things I love the most today, Panda Express, and Plastik.  The amazing Aikea Rieko of Plastik has released her brand new Atarciara Skins.  They’re fucking gorgeous.  That’s all I can really say.  The detail in them is amazing and this is officially my most favorite skin probably ever in life.  I will show you a picture below of me in my shape in two of the skins.  I would fatpack ALL OF THEM if I could.  I was lucky enough to Beta Test both normal and elven tones and the options that come with these skins and the amazing detail in every single limb of this skin is phenomenal.

Before I show you the picture, I am going to tell you ONE THING.  This is not necessarily a NEGATIVE because I don’t think this skin HAS any negatives, but it is definitely something that people need to know BEFORE purchasing.  Ataciara comes with BLONDE BROWS ONLY.  This means if you, like me, consistently wear dark hairs, you’re going to end up looking like you have non-existent brows.  With that said, I found a hairbase & brows from League for only 195L and I definitely think they make a huge difference.  The only problem, of course, is that they go on a tattoo layer.  If you are not using viewer 2.0 then you’re sort of screwed on tattoo layers (hopefully not for long?).  Anyway, I just thought that everyone needed to know this before purchasing the skin.  I obviously did not let this deter me because having the most gorgeous skin in SL is worth losing my tattoo layer.

Pay no attention to the title, it really has nothing to do with what I’m posting, at all hahah. Alex was the one who introduced me to <slut< and even though I’m not into the whole coochie-showing style, I do love high-waisted skirts so.. ya know. Anyways, the next goodie I have to show is the new freebie item at paper.doll for January only. Now before I speak any further, I want to let you all know that you can easily go to the store right now and get it for $0L but after this month, you have to be subscribed to the subscribo to receive the future monthly items. So make sure you subscribe for more free items and updates! Now that that’s out of the way, I of course got the freebie or should I say freebie’s because instead of just one, you get two. The freebie items are these adorable leopard printed scarves. Let me just say, I’m not a huge fan of scarves but anything animal printed immediately grabs my attention and these are definitely something I like a lot. Another thing, the poses used in this photo are from (Elate!)’s furniture side of the store (which I’m not going to lie, I had no idea they had furniture and I’m glad I came across it). I’ve always known (Elate!) for their clothing but oh my god, the furniture is just as amazing as the fashion. I’m gonna shut up now and show you what I’m talking about.

Alex Mondays…no, that just doesn’t work.

So Murderous was unable to post a blog update today due to RL shtuff going on, and so she’ll be posting tomorrow.

But I couldn’t leave you empty handed, could I?  And as it turns out, I have FANTASTIC reasons to blog today!

I was given a PRE-RELEASE of Panda Express Cyber Shrugs today!  Kioko worked painstakingly on them to make them absolutely gorgeous for all of you and I KNOW you will love them as much as I do.

The shrugs come in 14 (YES, 14) different colors and feature both ripped & normal sleeves depending on which style you prefer.  The sleeve attachments are dead on and have adorable bracelets on them that also feature a color-changing script that allows you to tint them up to 8 different colors, ***HOWEVER*** you can also tint them any color you want by selecting “grey” and then editing them and tinting them as you please.. and YES, they say “NO MODIFY” but really you can mod them easily; I tried.  Make backup copies, people. Don’t fuck your shit up!

ANYWAY, I have taken some lovely pictures for you all in varying colors so that you can see the shrugs.  REMEMBER, THERE ARE 14 COLORS TO CHOOSE FROM.  I AM ONLY BLOGGING A FEW!

So pictured above are the colors “Water” and “Lilac”… as you can see, these two shrugs are the ripped version.  I am wearing the bracelets in Grey and Purple.  It also comes with a hood, which as you can see is textured very nicely and looks fabulous!  Please do not judge my hair coming out of my armpit… I don’t like to edit photos even the slightest for this blog so that you know exactly how things fit on my avi IN WORLD.

Let’s Get Some Shoes!

So I went a whole entire day and a half before feeling the need to blog again.

But I promise I have a good reason to blog!

Kookie shoes.  Now I know a lot of people in SL have already found the wonderfulness that is Kookie.  Indeed, I had tried on Kookie’s amazing shoes more than once, but I had never jumped in and purchased them (I was going through a I-am-a-demon-and-only-wear-hooves phase).

Last night, however, was an altogether different story.   I’ll let the pictures do the talking!

These gorgeous shoes were totally worth the 500L I spent on them.  The details are terrific and the textures phenomenal.  Oh, how I love shoes!  All I can say is that I think every girl needs a pair of hawt boots like these.

Oooooh boy oh boy do I have goodies for you on this OH YOU FANCY!? Friday!

Firstly, please allow me to present my hubs to you, appearing with me in this blog for the very first time.  Today, Dodge & I received the newest release from Panda Express, and since we both had them we decided to be disgustingly cutesy and blog them together so that you can see this new marvel on both a male and a female avi.

Kioko Kumaki released another little baby in her Elflorn Ears set, the Goth Ears.  As you can see, the detail is incredible on these puppies.  I love the shape of her Elflorn ears; I have yet to see any ears like them.  They are MEANT to be very long, meant to be very noticeable, so for those of you wanting small, delicate elf ears, these are not for you.  Even Dodge at first was a little :O over their size, but as I told him, I will tell you; it takes getting used to when you wear those little gauged & aitui elf ears all the time.  The textures on them are absolutely lovely, the shading and detail are gorgeous.  The piercings on these ears are wonderful and she has even shadowed those as well for MORE detail.  The HUD is easy to use and it is extremely easy to match these ears with ANY skin tone!  Onto the pictures:

For those of you who may be unaware, Kioko has been working very hard the past year (or longer) on turning her sim into a RP sim.  That is why the name of the sim, Cuppycakeums, has turned into Neverwhere.

Straight from Kioko’s profile:
“We are turning the sim into a VERY cool RP area, it will be DARK so don’t expect care-bear bull shit. Mermaids, Elves, Fauns, Hybrids and Pirates will have a home here, full of raping and pillaging, Wars and settling scores! The rest Is a surprise!”

If you aren’t excited already, let me just tell you I FINALLY got to see the sim in all its wondrous glory, and nearly peed my pants with excitement.  Kioko says that her hope is that the sim will be open by the end of the month.

If you want details about it, please ask her.  I’m not sure what she’s willing to reveal just yet, but I wanted you all to know that I HAVE SEEN IT WITH MY OWN EYES AND IT IS A ROLEPLAYER’S PARADISE.  GET FUCKING EXCITED!

I also took a sneak peak picture, while I was there.  It has been edited only minorly, this is one of the actual areas in the sim.  I know it’s hard to see anything… that’s the point.  Consider this a teaser trailer of Neverwhere!

Hahaha, I crack myself up. So it’s the second day of “Whip My Hair Wednesday” and I have prepared a little mustache fashion combination for you all. I mean, we all know that a mustache can go with any outfit. Not only did I provide you with awesomeness but so did James. Well, technically I forced him to be my model although we both know how spiffy his mustache is. He’s so darn impatient but he was the perfect canidate for this with his gigantic stache.

The Clusterfuck of Illusory

HALLO THERE.

So again, I know we said MONDAYS WEDNESDAYS FRIDAYS but hey, Sundays need love too.  Today, the 2nd of January 2011, something happened that I have been waiting LITERALLY forever for, which is whyyy I’m blogging this early; it simply cannot wait until Friday.

Illusory has now opened.  For those of you who do not know, Illusory is the creation of Ivy Graves/Crushed Clarity, aka owner of Atomic (formerly Atomic Kitty).  I used to be a huuuuuge fan/patron of Atomic Kitty back in the day.  All of her fantasy items were right up my alley and I literally shopped nowhere else but there and Panda Express when I found it.  Then, Atomic came into play and Atomic Kitty was no more.  At that point in time she was still selling hybrid/animal parts, so I was still thrilled, but then those went away too, never to return!

So instead, what does this genius of a woman do?  Opens up a store, Illusory, DEDICATED to fantasy items.  As of right now, it has her first releases of elf ears, skins, and goat parts there.

Now let me tell you; the store is currently a clusterfuck.  Clearly other people felt, as I did, that Illusory would be amazing and we just HAD to get our grubby little hands on the items within, because the sim has been full since it opened!

I finally got in after a while of trying, and got my hands on the feathered elf ears I’ve been dying for.  They are beautiful, truly.  The textures are wonderful, the HUD is easy to use, the customization is super easy and wonderful.  They come in three different styles depending on what kind of elf ears you like.  I’ve always been a fan of “high elves,” if you will, aka elves with ears pointing up (not out or down) but the other ears come in varying degrees of rotation & style.

There are literally only TWO things I will say about these amazing ears that is negative: You cannot, I repeat, CANNOT change the color of the feathers.  They are what they are.  Similarly, you CANNOT change the color of the metal rings on the ears.  I would’ve liked to have seen options for that.  The second negative is that you cannot change where the feathers are.  They are on the right side of the head, and unfortunately MANY of my hairs cover them entirely because the bulk of them are on the right side if parted, etc.  So you have to be careful.. the other ear styles she offers are pierced instead, easier to work with, hair-wise.  But I was dying for the feathers, and that is somewhat a negative that they get covered up by so many of my favorite hairs.  But really, the ears are gorgeous, and I’m THRILLED to be sharing them with you.

Happy New Year!

So the girls and I are only going to typically be posting on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays, but in honor of ringing in the New Year I decided I would post YET AGAIN (get excited, two posts on one Friday can you STAND IT!?!?!?!) because I dressed up and put on a little razzle dazzle for New Years!  I won’t even really be in SL much today but I still wanted to dress up for the occassion.

Oh, who am I kidding, I’m just a shopping-whore.  D: Really though, last night while I was DJing at Demonic, I was dressed up as a little goth dolly and after all the abuse I took with people playing with my Doll Key I decided to go for a more classy “LET’S CELEBRATE WITH SOME CHAMPAGNE AND STOP TOUCHING ME” look.  :>

Anyway, onto the look!  Today I pieced together an outfit, the idea of which I shamelessly stole from Aikea (owner of Plastik) because I simply love some of the things that she wears!  I had been to this particular store before (because I already owned these jeans that I’m going to blog) but I hadn’t seen the top which she paired with them.  While I typically dress in monochromatic colors, most of my friends know I am also obsessively in love with turquoise, so I chose colors to reflect my personal taste, obviously.  Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the look
