(Listen)  <– I was at this exact concert last night.  This is the first time Tori Amos has ever performed this song live.  It is from her very first ever album, when she was a ‘band’ in the 80′s called Y Kant Tori Read.    I suggest listening to the original 80′s version too, it’s just as amazing!

So I know I haven’t blogged in a couple days.  To be honest, I’ve been RPing so much I haven’t really thought about it until it’s been time for bed!  And then last night, I went to the concert, and so I couldn’t do it then either.  I’m FINALLY clearing my schedule for you lovebugs who so faithfully read my blog.

Maybe I should cry for help

Helloooo everybody!  So today, my look was inspired by two things.  1., my ‘grandpapeh,’ Glitch Grantham (who is a blogger for The Spouge!), and 2. the event that I’m attending at the sim I RP at, The Fallen, owned & created by my boyfriend & partner, Dominic Darkmatter!

Firstly, today I witnessed an epic DJ battle at Greek Gold Lesbian Resort- which was a fund-raising event for GGLR.  Congratulations to my amazingly talented grandpapeh because she made it to the last round- as I knew she would because her taste in music is amazing!  It was an awesome time, and lots of good tunes were played (mostly by my Grandpapeh and her “father,” Dream Afterthought– js).  It got me all pumped up for the event I’m going to at The Fallen tonight!

Thanks to grandpapeh I found the best outfit for it, which I’ll be displaying in the pictures below.  The Fallen is an RP sim which requires you to apply to get in- you must have approval to RP & all applicants must be approved by Dominic himself.  One of these days I’ll do a post all about the RP sim, but I don’t want to get too wordy just now- other than to say that the sim itself has a night club in it which sponsors events just like the rest of the clubs in SL do!  So tonight I’m attending an in-character event, which happens to be a pajama party.  (I’m taking bets on how many people show up butt naked!)  At any rate, I’ll stop yammering and get on with the pictures

You heal me somehow

Hello lovelies

So today I was going through my inventory to decide what to wear (as usual), thinking about how today is the last day of November (holy crap!?) and found this hair by Boon that I forgot I had.

Those of you who have never been to Boon, well, I feel sorry for you!  Boon has some of the most interesting hairs I’ve ever seen in SL.  They’re very intricate, well made, and sometimes absolutely crazy– which I love!  So today’s look is built around this funky hair.  Boon hairs always remind me of something chic and classy with something slightly off-beat.  So that is sort of how I went ahead and pieced this look together today.  I hope you all enjoy it!
