I have a new item for you all and I’m SO EXCITED to show it off!  Kioko Kumaki, creator of Panda Express, and also known as my Mommeh, created these blindfolds that are amazing and awesome.  They are texture changing on touch, from the blindfold itself to the amazing details on each one, and also have a resize script in them, but are fully modifiable for your needs!  I’m SO excited about these and I hope you are too, so I took tons of pictures for you and without further ado:

notes on these:  All of them, as I stated before, have a menu that is accessed by touch to change their textures.  The blindfold colors all change, but some of them (such as Growth & Eye Surprise) have extra textures that change as well (like the tentacles, suction cups, etc).  In addition, Warning changes color gradually, shifting through basically all the colors of the rainbow, and TV Medicated is animated to look like a tv stuck on white noise.  They’re all amazing!!

(Listen)  <– I was at this exact concert last night.  This is the first time Tori Amos has ever performed this song live.  It is from her very first ever album, when she was a ‘band’ in the 80′s called Y Kant Tori Read.    I suggest listening to the original 80′s version too, it’s just as amazing!

So I know I haven’t blogged in a couple days.  To be honest, I’ve been RPing so much I haven’t really thought about it until it’s been time for bed!  And then last night, I went to the concert, and so I couldn’t do it then either.  I’m FINALLY clearing my schedule for you lovebugs who so faithfully read my blog.

So there’s lotttts of new releases lately and I have been on a shopping binge.  I need to slow down a little bit, but before I do, here’s a SMALL little list of things that every shopping enthusiast should go look at:
1. Elikatira.  Two new hairs, both adorable.  I purchased both & will probably wear them in my upcoming blog post.
2. Bellballs.  You saw the shoes I posted yesterday; that’s not all.  Viollette Vyper keeps coming out with shit faster than I can keep up.  Cosmetics, accessories, the whole shabang.  Go check it out.
3. Vive9.  There are more hairs there too!  I bought them all & will be logging one today.  They’re sooo beautiful I just can’t even get over them.
4. Raw House.  A new hair!  It is wonderfully textured & I adore it; I’ve been wearing it everywhere.  I might blog it in a future blog but I know that’s what everyone’s going to be doing so I refrained for now.
5. Reek.  Reek is having a 50% off sale.  Not a new release, but NEWS, in general!  I had a ton of fun last night going in there and buying the place out.

Now that I’ve rambled about THAT, onto what I really wanted to blog about.  Hair & a skirt.  Linc has released a new skirt called the Diigii High Skirt.  It is cute, sassy, annnnd I love it.  I have other high waisted skirts and I wear them a lot, so at first I was loathe to make another purchase when I have similar items, but this skirt is truly adorable and comes in many wearable options (two lengths for the slut or the good girl in all of us) and more options color/pattern wise than I could ever explain.  Here’s a picture of me in one of them, along with one of the new Vive9 hairs!  And yes, that is the BRAND NEW RELEASE from Haus of Darcy in my mouth!  GO GET IT.

Alex Mondays…no, that just doesn’t work.

So Murderous was unable to post a blog update today due to RL shtuff going on, and so she’ll be posting tomorrow.

But I couldn’t leave you empty handed, could I?  And as it turns out, I have FANTASTIC reasons to blog today!

I was given a PRE-RELEASE of Panda Express Cyber Shrugs today!  Kioko worked painstakingly on them to make them absolutely gorgeous for all of you and I KNOW you will love them as much as I do.

The shrugs come in 14 (YES, 14) different colors and feature both ripped & normal sleeves depending on which style you prefer.  The sleeve attachments are dead on and have adorable bracelets on them that also feature a color-changing script that allows you to tint them up to 8 different colors, ***HOWEVER*** you can also tint them any color you want by selecting “grey” and then editing them and tinting them as you please.. and YES, they say “NO MODIFY” but really you can mod them easily; I tried.  Make backup copies, people. Don’t fuck your shit up!

ANYWAY, I have taken some lovely pictures for you all in varying colors so that you can see the shrugs.  REMEMBER, THERE ARE 14 COLORS TO CHOOSE FROM.  I AM ONLY BLOGGING A FEW!

So pictured above are the colors “Water” and “Lilac”… as you can see, these two shrugs are the ripped version.  I am wearing the bracelets in Grey and Purple.  It also comes with a hood, which as you can see is textured very nicely and looks fabulous!  Please do not judge my hair coming out of my armpit… I don’t like to edit photos even the slightest for this blog so that you know exactly how things fit on my avi IN WORLD.

Let’s Get Some Shoes!

So I went a whole entire day and a half before feeling the need to blog again.

But I promise I have a good reason to blog!

Kookie shoes.  Now I know a lot of people in SL have already found the wonderfulness that is Kookie.  Indeed, I had tried on Kookie’s amazing shoes more than once, but I had never jumped in and purchased them (I was going through a I-am-a-demon-and-only-wear-hooves phase).

Last night, however, was an altogether different story.   I’ll let the pictures do the talking!

These gorgeous shoes were totally worth the 500L I spent on them.  The details are terrific and the textures phenomenal.  Oh, how I love shoes!  All I can say is that I think every girl needs a pair of hawt boots like these.

The Clusterfuck of Illusory

HALLO THERE.

So again, I know we said MONDAYS WEDNESDAYS FRIDAYS but hey, Sundays need love too.  Today, the 2nd of January 2011, something happened that I have been waiting LITERALLY forever for, which is whyyy I’m blogging this early; it simply cannot wait until Friday.

Illusory has now opened.  For those of you who do not know, Illusory is the creation of Ivy Graves/Crushed Clarity, aka owner of Atomic (formerly Atomic Kitty).  I used to be a huuuuuge fan/patron of Atomic Kitty back in the day.  All of her fantasy items were right up my alley and I literally shopped nowhere else but there and Panda Express when I found it.  Then, Atomic came into play and Atomic Kitty was no more.  At that point in time she was still selling hybrid/animal parts, so I was still thrilled, but then those went away too, never to return!

So instead, what does this genius of a woman do?  Opens up a store, Illusory, DEDICATED to fantasy items.  As of right now, it has her first releases of elf ears, skins, and goat parts there.

Now let me tell you; the store is currently a clusterfuck.  Clearly other people felt, as I did, that Illusory would be amazing and we just HAD to get our grubby little hands on the items within, because the sim has been full since it opened!

I finally got in after a while of trying, and got my hands on the feathered elf ears I’ve been dying for.  They are beautiful, truly.  The textures are wonderful, the HUD is easy to use, the customization is super easy and wonderful.  They come in three different styles depending on what kind of elf ears you like.  I’ve always been a fan of “high elves,” if you will, aka elves with ears pointing up (not out or down) but the other ears come in varying degrees of rotation & style.

There are literally only TWO things I will say about these amazing ears that is negative: You cannot, I repeat, CANNOT change the color of the feathers.  They are what they are.  Similarly, you CANNOT change the color of the metal rings on the ears.  I would’ve liked to have seen options for that.  The second negative is that you cannot change where the feathers are.  They are on the right side of the head, and unfortunately MANY of my hairs cover them entirely because the bulk of them are on the right side if parted, etc.  So you have to be careful.. the other ear styles she offers are pierced instead, easier to work with, hair-wise.  But I was dying for the feathers, and that is somewhat a negative that they get covered up by so many of my favorite hairs.  But really, the ears are gorgeous, and I’m THRILLED to be sharing them with you.

Happy New Year!

So the girls and I are only going to typically be posting on Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays, but in honor of ringing in the New Year I decided I would post YET AGAIN (get excited, two posts on one Friday can you STAND IT!?!?!?!) because I dressed up and put on a little razzle dazzle for New Years!  I won’t even really be in SL much today but I still wanted to dress up for the occassion.

Oh, who am I kidding, I’m just a shopping-whore.  D: Really though, last night while I was DJing at Demonic, I was dressed up as a little goth dolly and after all the abuse I took with people playing with my Doll Key I decided to go for a more classy “LET’S CELEBRATE WITH SOME CHAMPAGNE AND STOP TOUCHING ME” look.  :>

Anyway, onto the look!  Today I pieced together an outfit, the idea of which I shamelessly stole from Aikea (owner of Plastik) because I simply love some of the things that she wears!  I had been to this particular store before (because I already owned these jeans that I’m going to blog) but I hadn’t seen the top which she paired with them.  While I typically dress in monochromatic colors, most of my friends know I am also obsessively in love with turquoise, so I chose colors to reflect my personal taste, obviously.  Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the look
