So, for those of you who regularly look at my flickr, you’ll have noticed that I suddenly logged in to find nearly half of my inventory gone.  Yes, gone! And LL apparently cannot do anything about it!  What a sad day that was for me!  Luckily, I am realizing which stores I can count on to have failproof re-delivery systems and have managed to be able to get a lot of my most favorite items back!  Instead of re-buying tons of old shit, I opted to buy some new stuff, a piece of which I have decided to blog for you today!

I found this corset (among a few others) on the marketplace today and was so excited.  I LOVE corsets.  I love MESH corsets even more, and these are just honestly beautifully done.  I hope you agree, I will post the pictures below!

On the boundary, baby

(Listen)  <– I was at this exact concert last night.  This is the first time Tori Amos has ever performed this song live.  It is from her very first ever album, when she was a ‘band’ in the 80′s called Y Kant Tori Read.    I suggest listening to the original 80′s version too, it’s just as amazing!

So I know I haven’t blogged in a couple days.  To be honest, I’ve been RPing so much I haven’t really thought about it until it’s been time for bed!  And then last night, I went to the concert, and so I couldn’t do it then either.  I’m FINALLY clearing my schedule for you lovebugs who so faithfully read my blog.

Alrighty!  So this is a pretty informational post that I have for you at the moment.

For those of you unaware, Aikea Rieko’s (The Plastik’s owner/creator) flickr updated all of us flickr stalkers with some very sad news.  You can read about it here, but basically, her hard drive had an accident and now all of her hard work that she has done over time is gone unless she can raise the money to fix the hard drive. Unfortunately, this is a very delicate and thus expensive process.  Because it is such, she has put everything in her store on sale at a very generously discounted price in the hopes that it will generate some business and help her raise the money.

Now, many of you may know that I am literally a plastik-o-holic.  It has been one of my very favorite stores for over 2 years in SL.  I think that Aikea is a magnificent and brilliant creator, and I am trying to publicize this sale as much as humanly possible.  Please, please go to Plastik and shop to your heart’s content.  For those of you who don’t feel like Plastik is for you but want to donate, I am certain that Aikea would be very grateful for any sort of donation you could make to her, also.  It would be an honest-to-god tragedy to lose a creator as talented as she.  So this blog is dedicated to her and her store.  Enjoy the looks below, demonstrated by me and my ‘wifey,’ the very lovely Stefani Somerset!  UHNZ.

Hello dear readers!

Thank you for coming back and checking the blog out.  I apologize for abandoning you, but I had to be authentic & true to myself and I wasn’t feeling the blog the past few months!  It will be under construction for a while so please excuse me while I sort through the mess and clean it up!  Yes, I’m back to blog for you because I’m finally feeling inspired, but there will be a few changes!
